Lze dop\u0159edu \u010dekat, \u017ee bude m\u016fj text problematizovat, relativizovat, obru\u0161ovat. A je to tak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na konci jednoho sn\u011bmovn\u00edho semin\u00e1\u0159e k&nbsp;t\u00e9matu v\u00fdtvarn\u00e9ho um\u011bn\u00ed si vzal slovo kandid\u00e1t na ministra kultury a s&nbsp;mo\u017en\u00e1 ne\u010dekanou up\u0159\u00edmnost\u00ed uvedl, \u017ee se problematice v\u011bnuje jen kr\u00e1tce, nicm\u00e9n\u011b, jeho dosavadn\u00ed nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed dojem z&nbsp;\u010desk\u00e9 kultury je, \u201e\u017ee jsme vz\u00e1jemn\u011b stra\u0161n\u011b rozh\u00e1dan\u00ed.\u201c P\u0159\u00edtomn\u00ed nemohli ne\u017e souhlasit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ve srovn\u00e1n\u00ed se z\u00e1padn\u00edmi um\u011bleck\u00fdmi institucemi, v&nbsp;jejich\u017e programech je a\u017e repetitivn\u00ed shoda na t\u00e9matech a jm\u00e9nech, je \u010desk\u00e1 sc\u00e9na mnohem v\u00edce rozli\u010dn\u00e1. Jen v&nbsp;Praze &#8211; od N\u00e1rodn\u00ed galerie, GHMP p\u0159es Rudolfinum, Kunsthalle Praha, po Museum Kampa, DOX a Meetfactory, prezentuje ka\u017ed\u00fd program odli\u0161n\u00fd p\u0159\u00edstup k&nbsp;tomu, co to je \u201eum\u011bn\u00ed\u201c, jak m\u00e1 vypadat a jakou funkci m\u00e1 ve spole\u010dnosti plnit. Nicm\u00e9n\u011b mezi jednotliv\u00fdmi z\u00e1jmov\u00fdmi a n\u00e1zorov\u00fdmi skupinami, kter\u00e9 jsou s&nbsp;t\u011bmito institucemi \u010dasto siln\u011b propojeny, p\u0159evl\u00e1d\u00e1 sp\u00ed\u0161e rivalita a nevra\u017eivost ne\u017e vz\u00e1jemn\u00e1 kolegialita. Tak jako \u010dasto p\u0159evl\u00e1d\u00e1 mezi jednotliv\u00fdmi um\u011blci, pedagogy na vysok\u00fdch \u0161kol\u00e1ch, kur\u00e1tory i dal\u0161\u00edmi akt\u00e9ry v\u00fdtvarn\u00e9ho um\u011bn\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trouf\u00e1m si tvrdit, \u017ee se v&nbsp;\u010cech\u00e1ch p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 soust\u0159ed\u00edme na to, jak odli\u0161n\u00e9 (rozum\u011bj \u0161patn\u00e9), je to um\u011bn\u00ed, kter\u00e9 d\u011bl\u00e1 \u201eten\u201c druh\u00fd, a\u0165 ji\u017e je to um\u011blec, kur\u00e1tor nebo \u0159editel, ne\u017e abychom vid\u011bli sp\u00ed\u0161e to, jak je skv\u011bl\u00e9, \u017ee v\u016fbec n\u011bjak\u00e9 um\u011bn\u00ed d\u011bl\u00e1. A nav\u00edc um\u011bn\u00ed, kter\u00e9 je vlastn\u011b docela podobn\u00e9 tomu, kter\u00e9 d\u011bl\u00e1me \u201emy\u201c. To vede k&nbsp;neust\u00e1l\u00e9mu rozdrobov\u00e1n\u00ed v\u00fdtvarn\u00e9 sc\u00e9ny neschopn\u00e9 se ve v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed \u0161\u00ed\u0159i shodnout ani na z\u00e1kladn\u00edch hodnot\u00e1ch a principech, kter\u00e9 by bylo naopak t\u0159eba jednotn\u011b prosazovat v\u016f\u010di ve\u0159ejnosti i politik\u016fm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kritika nebo kriti\u010dnost?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Skoro p\u0159i ka\u017ed\u00e9 debat\u011b o n\u011bkter\u00e9m z probl\u00e9m\u016f francouzsk\u00e9 sc\u00e9ny se ve&nbsp;mne bou\u0159\u00ed emoce, jak \u201eby o tom kone\u010dn\u011b m\u011bl n\u011bkdo napsat\u201c. Ale nenap\u00ed\u0161e. Ve Francii, podobn\u011b jako v&nbsp;cel\u00e9m z\u00e1padn\u00edm um\u011bleck\u00e9m provozu, c\u00edlen\u00e1 negativn\u00ed kritika ji\u017e d\u00e1vno v\u016fbec neexistuje. P\u00ed\u0161e se jen o tom dobr\u00e9m, o tom \u0161patn\u00e9m se maxim\u00e1ln\u011b ml\u010d\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pokrytectv\u00ed je, jak psal Pierre Bourdieu, \u201echv\u00e1lou ctnosti.\u201c D\u011bl\u00e1 ji\u017e tak t\u011b\u017ek\u00fd \u017eivot v\u0161em snaz\u0161\u00edm. Maxim Turmenev z&nbsp;Artslinku v\u017edy V\u00fdchodoevropany p\u0159ich\u00e1zej\u00edc\u00ed do USA na reziden\u010dn\u00ed pobyty v\u00edtal anekdotou, jak je rad\u0161i, \u017ee se na n\u011bj Ameri\u010dan\u00e9 \u201eneup\u0159\u00edmn\u011b sm\u011bj\u00ed, ne\u017e aby se na n\u011bj &#8211; jako doma &#8211; up\u0159\u00edmn\u011b mra\u010dili\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pro\u010d si vlastn\u011b v&nbsp;\u010cech\u00e1ch tak r\u00e1di vz\u00e1jemn\u011b podr\u00e1\u017e\u00edme nohy? Lze to opravdu vysv\u011btlovat logikou ozdravn\u00e9ho t\u0159\u00edben\u00ed odborn\u00e9ho pole kritick\u00fdm rozumem? Nebo principem soupe\u0159en\u00ed o omezen\u00e9 zdroje v&nbsp;podfinancovan\u00e9 a na grantov\u00fdch sout\u011b\u017e\u00edch z\u00e1visej\u00edc\u00ed kultu\u0159e, kdy \u201esmrt\u201c druh\u00e9ho prost\u011b znamen\u00e1 v\u00edce \u201echleba\u201c pro mne? Mysl\u00edm si, \u017ee d\u016fle\u017eit\u011bj\u0161\u00ed je sp\u00ed\u0161e specifick\u00e9 porozum\u011bn\u00ed \u201ekriti\u010dnosti\u201c v&nbsp;\u010desk\u00e9 kultu\u0159e obecn\u011b.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V&nbsp;jedn\u00e9 z&nbsp;posledn\u00edch h\u00e1dek na t\u00e9ma shody v\u011bdeck\u00e9 obce nad lidsk\u00fdm zavin\u011bn\u00edm klimatick\u00e9 zm\u011bny, m\u016fj t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 osmdes\u00e1tilet\u00fd otec uzav\u0159el t\u00edm, \u017ee \u201eodborn\u00edk se m\u016f\u017ee m\u00fdlit, demokracie je, \u017ee si m\u016f\u017eu \u0159\u00edkat, co chci.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Demokratick\u00e1 a vysp\u011bl\u00e1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Absence spole\u010dn\u00e9 p\u016fdy pod nohama, kulturn\u00ed, n\u00e1zorov\u00e1 a jin\u00e1 fragmentarizace je mo\u017en\u00e1 pro sou\u010dasnou \u010deskou spole\u010dnost, kter\u00e1 pro\u0161la tolika z\u00e1sadn\u00edmi diskontinuitami, typick\u00e1. Na v\u00fdtvarn\u00e9 sc\u00e9n\u011b se projevuje ve snah\u00e1ch uzurpovat si tento neexistuj\u00edc\u00ed standard. A\u0165 ji\u017e je to mno\u017estv\u00ed vz\u00e1jemn\u011b se devalvuj\u00edc\u00edch cen, z&nbsp;nich\u017e ani jedna nedok\u00e1zala t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 nikoho propojit,&nbsp;do sebe uzav\u0159en\u00fd a realit\u011b fungov\u00e1n\u00ed um\u011bleck\u00e9ho sv\u011bta neodpov\u00eddaj\u00edc\u00ed syst\u00e9m akademick\u00e9ho hodnocen\u00ed um\u011bleck\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce, mno\u017estv\u00ed petic\u00ed, kontra-petic\u00ed a otev\u0159en\u00fdch dopis\u016f koexistuj\u00edc\u00edch vedle neust\u00e1l\u00e9ho moralizov\u00e1n\u00ed sebe sp\u00e1sn\u00fdmi mechanismy komis\u00ed a v\u00fdb\u011brov\u00fdch \u0159\u00edzen\u00ed ve zcela incestn\u011b propojen\u00e9 sc\u00e9n\u011b, jsou v\u0161echno pr\u00e1v\u011b odrazem tohoto typu \u201ekriti\u010dnosti\u201c, kter\u00e1 m\u00e1 za c\u00edl druh\u00e9ho hlavn\u011b kompromitovat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Podobn\u011b jako v&nbsp;cel\u00e9 \u010desk\u00e9 spole\u010dnosti, i mezi t\u011bmito \u201estandardy\u201c bez probl\u00e9m\u016f p\u0159e\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 hrubost, nekolegi\u00e1lnost, ned\u016fv\u011bra, uzav\u0159enost a hlavn\u011b nep\u0159ej\u00edcnost. V\u0161echny ve shod\u011b sd\u00edlen\u00e9 nap\u0159\u00ed\u010d levou i pravou v\u00fdtvarnou sc\u00e9nou, kde se pr\u00e1v\u011b za \u201enutnost kritiky\u201c \u010dasto schov\u00e1vaj\u00ed pouh\u00e9 \u00fatoky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u016fj otec m\u011bl v&nbsp;ur\u010dit\u00e9m ohledu pravdu. Na\u0161e spole\u010dnost \u201esm\u011bj\u00edc\u00edch se besti\u00ed\u201c, nebo mo\u017en\u00e1 sp\u00ed\u0161e hobit\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed maj\u00ed (historicky od\u016fvodn\u011bn\u011b) ke v\u0161emu apriorn\u00ed ned\u016fv\u011bru, je vlastn\u011b velmi demokratick\u00e1. Jak\u00e1koliv moc se okam\u017eit\u011b st\u00e1v\u00e1 ter\u010dem \u00fatoku. To z&nbsp;n\u00e1s ale nutn\u011b ne\u010din\u00ed spole\u010dnost vysp\u011blou. Ta toti\u017e pro sv\u00e9 fungov\u00e1n\u00ed pot\u0159ebuje vysokou \u00farove\u0148 respektu pr\u00e1v\u011b k&nbsp;pozic\u00edm autority, podobn\u011b jako modely chov\u00e1n\u00ed, kter\u00e9 konflikt\u016fm p\u0159edch\u00e1z\u00ed, sp\u00ed\u0161e, ne\u017e aby je podn\u011bcovaly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ot\u00e1zkou tak pro mne je, jak na sc\u00e9n\u011b transformovat tuto vnit\u0159n\u00ed tendenci ke kriti\u010dnosti, aby nez\u016fst\u00e1vala jen v&nbsp;tomto \u010dasto&nbsp;prim\u00e1rn\u011b destruktivn\u00edm m\u00f3du, ale zase se zcela nevytratila do pouh\u00e9ho konformismu. Rol\u00ed v\u00fdtvarn\u00e9 kritiky by pro mne dnes m\u011blo b\u00fdt sp\u00ed\u0161e propojovat ne\u017e hodnotit, a sp\u00ed\u0161e vysv\u011btlovat ne\u017e problematizovat. O nesmysln\u00e9m kantorsk\u00e9m hled\u00e1n\u00ed chyb v recenzovan\u00e9m v\u016fbec nemluv\u011b. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nen\u00ed koho svrhnout<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mo\u017en\u00e1 jedin\u00e9, co n\u00e1s je\u0161t\u011b od z\u00e1padn\u00ed \u010d\u00e1sti Evropy odli\u0161uje, je ne zcela zakotven\u00e1 schopnost integrovat zm\u011bny bez p\u0159eru\u0161ov\u00e1n\u00ed kontinuity. Jsme st\u00e1le zvykl\u00ed na nutnost mnohem otev\u0159en\u011bj\u0161\u00edch \u00fatok\u016f. Jakoby bychom st\u00e1le trochu d\u011blali \u201erevoluci\u201c. Ale je st\u00e1le pot\u0159eba? Nen\u00ed podobn\u011b rovnost\u00e1\u0159sk\u00fd princip, kdy t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 ka\u017ed\u00fd c\u00edt\u00ed pr\u00e1vo mluvit do v\u0161eho jen residuem doby minul\u00e9? Nen\u00ed podobn\u011b obecn\u00e1 ned\u016fv\u011bra k \u00fasp\u011bchu p\u0159e\u017eitkem \u010das\u016f, kdy \u00fasp\u011bch nepochybn\u011b byl kompromituj\u00edc\u00ed, a jen pozice vylou\u010den\u00ed zaji\u0161\u0165ovala alespo\u0148 ur\u010ditou mor\u00e1ln\u00ed \u010distotu? (Anal\u00fdza obecn\u00e9 spole\u010densk\u00e9 ned\u016fv\u011bry k&nbsp;instituc\u00edm nejen na v\u00fdtvarn\u00e9 sc\u00e9n\u011b by byla na dal\u0161\u00ed text.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Francouzsk\u00e9 p\u0159irovn\u00e1n\u00ed mluv\u00ed o ko\u0161\u00edku krab\u016f. Ti se v&nbsp;ko\u0161\u00edku bez v\u00edka vz\u00e1jemn\u011b dr\u017e\u00ed v&nbsp;klepetech, i kdy\u017e by mohli vystoupat jeden po krun\u00fd\u0159i druh\u00e9ho ven. Nen\u00ed koho svrhnout. \u017d\u00e1dn\u00e1 z\u00e1sadn\u00ed zm\u011bna revoluc\u00ed nep\u0159ijde. Sou\u010dasnou situaci na nez\u00e1visl\u00e9 sc\u00e9n\u011b i v&nbsp;instituc\u00edch ur\u010duje spole\u010densk\u00fd kontext, se kter\u00fdm \u017e\u00e1dn\u00fd jednotlivec p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 neud\u011bl\u00e1. Pokud se v\u00fdtvarn\u00e1 sc\u00e9na nespoj\u00ed a nebude schopna zlep\u0161it postaven\u00ed um\u011bn\u00ed jako hodnoty nap\u0159\u00ed\u010d celou spole\u010dnost\u00ed, riskuje. M\u016f\u017ee p\u0159ij\u00edt doba, kdy&nbsp;ty jednotliv\u00e9 rozd\u00edly, nebudou, pro toho, kdo bude cht\u00edt likvidovat nez\u00e1vislou kulturu jako celek, hr\u00e1t ji\u017e d\u016fle\u017eitou roli. Argumenty proti n\u00e1m sam\u00fdm jsme si p\u0159eci ji\u017e stejn\u011b vz\u00e1jemn\u011b d\u00e1vno p\u0159ipravili.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>[1]<\/sup> Nikdo nepom\u016f\u017ee nikomu \u2013 N\u00e1zev v\u00fdstavy Jana a Ji\u0159\u00ed \u0160ev\u010d\u00edkov\u00fdch v&nbsp;roce 1992 v&nbsp;GHMP, kter\u00fd pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b odkazuje k&nbsp;d\u00edlu J\u00f6rg Schlicka a Martina Kippenbergera \u201eKeiner hilft Keinem\u201c z&nbsp;roku 1993, resp. mottu fiktivn\u00edho spole\u010denstv\u00ed \u201eLord Jim Loge\u201c, kterou spole\u010dn\u011b s&nbsp;dal\u0161\u00edmi um\u011blci zalo\u017eili.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Michal Novotn\u00fd je od roku 2019 \u0159editelem Sb\u00edrky um\u011bn\u00ed po roce 1945 N\u00e1rodn\u00ed galerie v Praze a od roku 2024 komisa\u0159em \u010desk\u00e9ho pavilonu na Ben\u00e1tsk\u00e9m bien\u00e1le. Vyu\u010duje tak\u00e9 na Vysok\u00e9 \u0161kole um\u011bleckopr\u016fmyslov\u00e9 v Praze a v letech 2011 a\u017e 2018 byl \u0159editelem Centra sou\u010dasn\u00e9ho um\u011bn\u00ed FUTURA v Praze. Jeho v\u00fdzkum se zam\u011b\u0159uje na identitu st\u0159edoevropsk\u00e9ho a v\u00fdchodoevropsk\u00e9ho um\u011bn\u00ed. Mezi jeho posledn\u00ed projekty pat\u0159\u00ed expozice 1939\u20132021: Konec \u010dernob\u00edl\u00e9 doby (spole\u010dn\u011b s Evou Skopalovou a Ad\u00e9lou Jan\u00ed\u010dkovou), N\u00e1rodn\u00ed galerie v Praze, 2023; spolupr\u00e1ce s Centre Pompidou na festivalu MOVE: Intimita jako vzdor v N\u00e1rodn\u00ed galerii v Praze a Centre Pompidou v Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017ei, a v neposledn\u00ed \u0159ad\u011b projekt Kv\u011btinov\u00e1 unie v Rad\u011b Evropsk\u00e9 unie v Bruselu, oba v roce 2022.
